The conversation cycle "Tratar o Cancro por Tu" will once again lead science to respond to the great challenges posed by oncological disease.

Data from the National Cancer Registry show a significant reduction in new cancer cases.

More than half of cancer patients do not die from the disease. This is a statement from Manuel Sobrinho Simões, a doctor, professor, and researcher.

"Tratar o cancro por tu" is the name of an Ipatimup initiative now in its second edition.

Sobrinho Simões, a cancer researcher at Ipatimup, explains the need for "quality control" of data and information on cancer.

"Tratar o cancro por tu" will travel to six cities across the country, starting in Porto this Thursday. The project brings together doctors and specialists.
