“Jorge Serafim delivered a brilliant satire on the imposition of fashion regarding the importance of skin color. But this must be viewed according to the part of the world we live in. If this is true in the Western world, where we spend hours in the sun to get tanned, the truth is that beauty standards vary greatly depending on where we live, which certainly influences the appearance of diseases like skin cancer.”
