Cancer prevention is possible by changing lifestyles. This was one of the main messages conveyed by the experts who participated in the session ‘Cancer and environmental risks: pollution, radiation, sun, passive smoking and occupational contaminants’, debated in the initiative “Tratar o Cancro por Tu”, promoted by the Institute of Pathology and Molecular Immunology of the University of Porto (Ipatimup), which took place at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), last Thursday.
